I have a new Twitter follower she sent me this message:

“I live and breathe music, dancing and creativity – what rocks your world?”

I replied with a tweet:

” I love, trust, control my mind. I live my life and I like to spread the word and get in touch with people. ”

Smartphone, tablet, laptop, netbook, desktop…..At the end of the day, what do you get from the internet after sitting/holding in front of it whole day?

Long playlist history of YouTube video?
Tons of information from different sources?
Document/media work done?
Online investment?
Made lots of friends in social network?
A relationship?
Geeks like me who just loves to do anything with computer?

For most of us we may have to work in front of the computer whole day, and the first thing we do after we go back home is to stick with your computer again. What is so attractive about it and what are you trying to get from it?

I do appreciate everyone of you who visited my website. Share with us what you do every day in the World Wide Web. G’day to y’all 🙂

Today my heart is beating so fast

Today I helped people

Today I have emotion

Today I am loved and blessed

Today, I have today

Today I am looking forward to another day

iPhone without data

I have been to Singapore for 2 months. Since minimum contract takes 2 years to complete, I decided to use prepaid only (and it is a good decision for me). My prepaid sim card has no data, at first I thought my iPhone has become brick. I only use it to listen to music, alarm or mini game like “Fling” to kill my time.

Though I have found myself. I started picking up an actual books to read on the road. I started to be more productive and do my thing rather than tumbling my fingers to whatsapp or Facebook.

I still use my iPhone at home using wi-fi but most of the time I stick with laptop. I think it is a good thing to experience. I will still need all the social media but I now also know how addicted I was.

I think people should really be careful of the usage of their phone, there is still a life out there, experience it. Open you eyes to the world. Do not abuse the technology that helps with our life. It plays a main role in our future, so treat it right.

Let me know what you think… How long can you stay “alive” without your smartphone?

Check out my Malaysia tour in Muar and Malacca

Muar is a small town in Malaysia. It is really quiet and spacious compare to Singapore. The place is really natural and historic. Lots of temples and nice local food. I stayed there for 3 days I enjoyed it very much. The main language in Malaysia is of course Malay, I had really good time learning few fun Malay words and catch up with my old friends that I met back in Melbourne.

Malacca is more like a tourist place. It has really strong history behind about before and after war. There are red houses built by Holland. There are English street names. There are food that you cannot find elsewhere. Overall it’s a really fun place to visit despit the heat 😛

Quick Update – Singapore

It has been a long time since my last blog. I have been wanting to do it and I have lots of ideas.

Though I have been busy doing my own stuff, let me give you guys a quick update.

  1. I am relocated to Singapore
  2. I bought a MacBook Pro – please check the latest blog for my thought of my Mac experience
  3. I will be busy 😛

So, I am in Singapore, a place which is even smaller than Hong Kong. Hong Kong is where I was originated by the way. I came here to work. I am here for one and a half month. So far I am having good time with the steaming hot weather. I just came back from a short trip to Malaysia.

Here is my summary about Singapore

  • Very HOT!
  • Most of the people eat outside, I have never cooked anything here yet so far
  • Rent and alcohol is really expensive compare to food, entertainment, and transportation
  • Transportation gives you headache, though there are lots of bus and train stopping in every corner
  • Food ordering may be surprising sometimes because there will be lots of Malay
  • I am having communication problems even I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Singaporean really do care about education
  • You CAN survive without air-con and sticky body, but you CANNOT survive without water. What!? This is common sense.
  • You can see Indonesia from Singapore with real eyes
  • Singapore is so HOT!
