The Langham Launches The Ladurée Afternoon Tea with a Brand New Flavour

The House of Ladurée and The Langham, Hong Kong  has collaborated to present The Ladurée Afternoon Tea by Langham to unveil an exclusive Langham flavoured Ginger Flower macaron at Palm Court.


Ginger Flower macaron is filled with a custom-made rose ganache, complemented with notes of ginger, and sandwiched between two beautifully baked pink macaron shells. The delicate confections were designed and delivered from Paris to guarantee that each characteristic consisted of a mouth-watering crunch with a sweet finish.
The iconic Marie-Antoinette macaron makes an appearance on the afternoon tea set. This Ladurée creation is a reflection of the infamous Marie-Antoinette tea, which is a marriage of black tea from China and India with flavours of rose petals, citrus fruits, and honey.

There are a few selected blend of tea for you to go with the scrumptious set. To take it to a new level, you may also enjoy the very luxurious Sense of Spirit drinks, Rose Silk Cocktail and Spring Jasmine Mocktail, inspired by the newest Shanghai Tang Silk Road Fragrance Collection. The offer is only available from 15 August until 15 October 2015.

Enhancing the experience further, The Langham, Hong Kong’s Executive Chef Pedro Samper composes a wide range of sweet and savory petite bites, served on the tailor-made “Langham Rose” Wedgwood tea ware.

The Ladurée Afternoon Tea comes with warm golden raisins and plain scones by Palm Court Bakery served with Devonshire clotted cream, rose preserve, and strawberry jam. 

In honour of this cooperation, guests will receive a complimentary seasonal macaron gift box for every order of The Ladurée Afternoon Tea by Langham while supplies last.
The Ladurée Afternoon Tea by Langham is served on weekdays from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays in two sittings, from 2:15 to 4:15 p.m., and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
It is priced at HK$298 per person and HK$538 for two persons, subject to 10% service charge. 
The Ginger Flower macaron is a new flavour exclusively available at The Langham, Hong Kong’s Palm Court lobby lounge from 12 September to 31 December 2015.
