Les Maitres Cuisiniers de France has been launched in Asia-Pacific region on 14 May 2015. It is the most envied title to masters with highest classification in restaurant guides.
Chef Christian Tetedoie, a One Star chef, President of the worldwide Association Les Maitres Cuisiniers de France and Chef Fabrice Vulin, a 2-Star Chef of Caprice at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and Chefs Robert Fontana and Marc Toutain, members of the Association, have joined together for the celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong.
Currently, there are 8 members in Hong Kong, Manila, Beijing, Hanoi, Jakarta and Bangkok, and the Association is to invite 30 more top chefs to join the APAC Branch in 2015.
The requirement to join the Association
- At least 28 years of age and no older than 55
- French Nationality
- Currently employed as a Chef
- A holder of higher qualifications in business and culture and a recognized professional with a min. 10 years experience as a professional chef
- With a currently place of employment for at least two years
