Frankly I have never had a Android phone, this is my first experience of using Galaxy Note and I am making a review video of it. Feel free to leave a Comment and share with us what is your experience and what do you think of Android and iOS.

Galaxy Note:

  • 5.3″ screen
  • HD super amoled display with 1280×800 resolution
  • Lighter than an iPhone
  • Sensitive and smart feature with the use of S Pen
  • 8MP camera
  • Long battery life (it lasts for 1 day for me)
  • Awesome video and picture editing function
  • Full email feature like Outlook
  • Business Oriented

Yesterday, the media manager from renowned company asked me, what would be the biggest hit in technology this year?

I immediately said “iPhone5″ . First of all, apple has their production period for every product. iPhone5 would be coming later this year. Why would iPhone5 be the biggest hit instead of Android? Obviously I am an Apple fans :)

Android is very powerful and business oriented, though the whole experience that iPhone can provide is completely different. It is true that people may found iTunes is hard to manage and organize, and Androids provides a better platform for different kind of users. However, most of the people find apple easier to pick up.

What would be the biggest hit in 2012? You tell me … hopefully we can share more ideas with each other

Hong Kong Utopia

Hong Kong is a very busy and crowded city, however I found this Utopia in Diamond Hill. Due to a lunch invitation, finally I have a chance to go there for a very lovely vegetarian meal.

This Utopia is called “Chi Lin Nunnery”, it is a Buddhist temple in the middle of the city.  I was so amazed I can find this peaceful and quiet place surrounded by uncountable tall concrete buildings in my hometown, world leading financial centre Hong Kong.

Thank you to Kelly Chan, for this guest post on love. Love is natural. To be loved, you have to love yourself first. If you don’t love yourself, how can your other half plant the seed of love in your field? If you don’t love yourself, what makes you think you are ready for love yet? If you don’t love yourself, how do you know how to love another person? Photo by: Oshinn Reid Some people don’t know if they are ready yet, they live in fear. Love is natural. To be loved, you have to love yourself first.

If you don’t love yourself, how can your another half plant love seed in your field? If you don’t love yourself, what makes you think you are ready for love yet? If you don’t love yourself, how do you know how to love another person?

Some people either they don’t know if they are ready yet, or when they forget about themselves when they are in too much love. Remember you are always you, love is part of your life, not your life.

If you don’t want to hurt the one you love, love yourself first.

I was living in Melbourne, the best city in the world in 2011. Melbourne is a very beautiful place full of sunshine, beaches, breeze, animals , muscle, parties and love. If you are going to Melbourne, make sure you have sufficient time for you to have a fun and relaxing holiday. If  you are interested in travelling, feel free to contact me for quotation or itineraries.

Must do/go:

  • Flinders street – the signature historical train station, and it is in the heart of Melbourne
  • St. Kilda beach – beautiful beach, you may find small penguin underneath the rocks. You may as well go to the Luna Park in St. Kilda. If you are driving, you can drive along the beach/highway to go to another famous beach called Brighton Beach. There are many unique and beautifully painted boat houses on the beach. Nice cafe and restaurant along the shores.
  • Great Ocean Road – must go sightseeing place, amazing Apollo Bay
  • Dandenong mountain – amazing mountain with nice view, you won’t regret this, try to spend some quality time and try to concentrate on the sky for shooting stars.
  • Philip Island – 2 hours drive from the city, you can find little cute group of penguins from there :)
  • Mornington – 1 hour drive from the city, if you are going during the right reason, you can go pick some fresh cherries or strawberries.
  • Cuisine – feel free to try different national cuisine, most of them are very traditional and run by immigrants, and food is really tasty
  • Free City Tour- try to find the tram from Flinders Street  for the free city ride

p.s. If you have more than 2 weeks travel time, try to take some weekend tour to different city or country side. It takes 9 hours to drive to Adelaide beautiful city and 11 hours drive to lively busy Sydney :)

As always, it is hard to name all of them, feel free to drop a line if I have missed out any good ones. If you are interested in travelling to Australia or any other places in the world, you can drop me a line at ticktechtold@hotmail.com or leave a comment below, I am able to provide reasonable travel packages, flight ticket or hotels. Thank you very much.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,100 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.

Travel Advices – Singapore

As a Hong Kong girl, it only takes me 4 hours to fly to Singapore and it is always a good place for us to have a trip there :)

Been staying there for a while, I think I can give a short travel advices about Singapore from my own experience. If you are interested, please contact me for more information :)

Must do/go:

  • Marina bay sands top floor swimming pool – it is a edgeless swimming pool, check my experience video here            Highest Swimming Pool in The World
  • National Museum of Singapore – if you like museums, you will definitely like this good one
  • Clake Quay for few nice drinks – must try “Singapore Sling” local signature cocktail
  • Lau Pa Sat – a very historic building turning into a food court kind, with really nice food, it is located in the city
  • Sentosa – artificial beach, worth trying their games and activities including “segway!”
  • Universal Studio – must try both of their highest ride :)
  • Chinatown – quite tasty Chinese food over there, must try “bakuteh” (herbal soup with pork rib)
  • Orchard road – lots of lots of big brands and very nice street decoration, must try the very traditional ice-cream sandwich

Hotel (from my own experience):

  • Marina bay sands – very model and huge hotel with big lobby and breakfast buffet that gives you a wow, room is very typical, staff is nice but somehow hard for them to manage so many rooms and guests, room service time varies. Highly recommend you to take taxi all the time if you are staying here.
  • Grand Hyatt (in Orchard Road) – in the heart of Singapore, extremely crowded entrance, very easy to access to anywhere, you will like it if you love shopping. It has nice service, nice room. You feel different staying in such a nice hotel in a jam packed crowded heart of Singapore
  • Mandarin Oriental – hotel with reputation by name, very good service, attitude and elegant hotel room. You feel welcoming by all the small details from the hotel. 15 mins walk to City Hall MRT, reasonable price for such a complete hotel experience

p.s. If you are staying in Singapore for more than a week time, I highly recommend you to join some weekend tours to go to Malacca in Malaysia or Bintan in Indonesia.

It is hard to name all of them, please feel free to leave a comment or drop me a line at ticktechtold@hotmail.com for more information, price quotation or itinerary. I am able to provide a discounted price for packages, flight ticket, hotel rooms. Thank you very much.
